Job description

The client is seeking a Vice President, Development to help drive its mission to end hunger through leadership of enterprise fundraising and advancement efforts. The role operates within a nationwide network focused on improving access to nutritious food and related supports for individuals and communities experiencing food insecurity.

As a senior development leader, the Vice President, Development will support strategy across multiple interconnected priorities, including enhancing neighbor access and experience with the charitable food system, expanding sourcing and sharing of preferred food, and advancing policy advocacy to address root causes of hunger. The position is expected to strengthen holistic support approaches and to improve measurement and data practices through shared opportunities in data and technology across the broader network, aligning development initiatives with these strategic goals.

The Vice President, Development will lead and influence fundraising effectiveness, donor engagement, and operational excellence, typically requiring experience guiding complex, mission-critical organizations through periods of challenge and change.
