Job summary

Athene is seeking a Vice President of Regional Distribution to drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors nationwide. This leader will own the territory sales target across both capabilities, build durable relationships with advisory firms, and coordinate with wealth teams and recordkeepers to expand adoption.

The role requires 10+ years in retirement plan sales, deep ERISA knowledge, and FINRA licensing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong understanding of ERISA fundamentals and private assets or guaranteed income.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own annual territory sales target across Apollo and Vitera DC offerings.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams to drive adoption.
• Develop territory plan with priority advisors and measurable pipeline milestones.
• Lead advisor education, events, and presentations while maintaining relationship ownership.
• Coordinate with wealth team and recordkeeper partners on joint meetings and opportunities.
