Jobot is seeking a Director of Engineering & Controls in Dallas to own a $20M+ P&L, lead engineering, controls, and panel-shop operations, and drive growth. This role demands a commercially oriented leader with strong PLC/SCADA expertise and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience owning P&L and driving commercial growth in industrial automation or systems integration.
• Hands-on grounding in PLC and SCADA-based process and manufacturing automation.
• Background in oil & gas, midstream, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to build and lead engineering teams.
• BS in Electrical or Controls Engineering; PE license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Own a P&L of $20M+, including EBITDA, margin, budgeting, staffing, and utilization.
• Shape strategy, scope, and pricing with BD and sales to grow the business.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and controls teams with structure and accountability.
• Serve as the technical authority on control system architecture (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS).
• Partner with project management and operations to deliver work safely, on time, and on budget.
