Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Lending to lead a strategic plan and direct all consumer lending activities, including auto, personal, credit card and indirect lending. The role focuses on growth through digital-first experiences, modernizing lending via technology, and deepening member relationships using data-driven personalization.

Qualifications

Ten years’ lending experience in financial institutions.
Three years of progressive leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations and practices.
Ability to travel 20% of time.
Familiarity with AI/emerging tech in lending.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct all consumer loan activities: origination, processing, underwriting, and funding.
Design and execute lending strategies to increase member engagement and product adoption.
Partner with IT/data teams to build AI-driven lending tools and real-time decisioning.
Evaluate lending products, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and member service.
Collaborate with marketing, branches, and vendors to grow the loan portfolio.
