Job summary

Domo Modular is building a scalable, end-to-end housing platform. We seek a Vice President of Construction / General Contracting to own the construction pipeline, safety, quality, and budgets, and to implement Lean practices across field teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction experience, including significant leadership roles.
• Experience implementing Lean Construction across multi-project portfolios.
• Strong background in constructability review, value engineering, and project scoping.
• Excellent executive leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction organization and scheduling across the portfolio.
• Set and enforce SOPs, QA/QC, and safety programs.
• Manage direct reports and oversee field teams and procurement functions.
• Collaborate with Development, Design/Engineering, Manufacturing, and Property Management.
• Develop scalable roadmap to deliver 1,500 dwelling units per year within 36 months.
• Mentor and develop staff through feedback and coaching.
• Drive Lean Construction practices and continuous improvement.
• Oversee risk, contracts, insurance, and claims strategy.
• Provide executive-level reporting, dashboards, and financial oversight.
• Coordinate with Technical Director on pre-construction activities.
• Resolve escalations related to budget, schedule, and scope.
