Construction Job Board USA is seeking a Head of Operations to drive end-to-end construction and factory operations for scalable prefab housing projects in the Atlanta metro area. You will ensure zoning to final inspection quality, manage permitting, vendor relations, and a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.

The role requires a Georgia General Contractor license, 7+ years in residential construction or ADU development, and hands-on leadership across field and factory settings.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia General Contractor License
• Must be willing to serve as Qualifying Agent
• 7+ years of experience in residential construction, prefab/modular building, or small-home/ADU development
• Deep familiarity with Georgia codes, permitting processes, inspectors, and county requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites, construction timelines, and subcontractors
• Track record of building operational systems, not just following them
• Strong project management, problem solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to be hands-on in the field and factory

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s designated Qualifying Agent with the Georgia State Licensing Board
• Hold final approval authority on all construction contracts and change orders
• Ensure company maintains compliance with Georgia contractor licensing requirements
• Review and approve all construction‑related financial commitments
• Partner with the factory manager/production team to oversee panel fabrication and installation planning
• Build and manage a network of subcontractors across site work and trades
• Own project scheduling, capacity planning, and field operations dashboards
• Drive cycle-time reductions and build-process improvements
• Oversee transportation and on-site assembly of prefabricated panels
• Coordinate foundations, utilities, and finishing work on site
• Create and enforce quality standards across factory-built components and onsite construction
• Lead a team of site superintendents, project managers, and inspectors in time
• Represent operations in strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives
