Job summary

Harris Computer invites an accomplished AI delivery leader to guide engineering across multiple portfolio companies. You will drive an agentic, human-on-the-loop delivery model, set roadmaps, govern AI-enabled projects, and align engineering work with revenue outcomes while ensuring security and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a decade+ in software development, 3+ years directing teams at director level, and a track record modernizing platforms for public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Ten or more years in software development with at least three years leading engineering organizations at director level or above.
• Demonstrated hands-on use of AI development tools with governance and validation experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise software to public sector, public safety, or other regulated markets is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to translate AI capability into customer-facing value and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering managers and directors across portfolio companies with clear goals and performance expectations.
• Set and enforce governance, risk management, and security considerations for AI-enabled products.
• Own roadmap, releases, and executive reporting to align with business outcomes.
• Balance onshore, offshore, and contract capacity to meet roadmaps and customer commitments.
• Promote transparency and collaboration across R&D, Support, Product Management, Sales, and Finance.
