Job summary

Harris Computer seeks a senior engineering leader to drive AI fluency and agentic delivery across its portfolio, setting roadmaps and governance for AI-enabled products.

The role owns cross-team release commitments, mentors directors, governs AI-generated code security, and aligns technology choices to revenue outcomes while expanding platform modernization and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in software development with at least three years leading engineering organizations at director level or above.
• Hands-on use of AI development tools in daily work with a clear point of view on where they help.
• Experience raising engineering practices from AI assistance to agentic, governed delivery.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise software delivery.
• Experience delivering enterprise software to public sector or regulated markets is preferred.
• Track record modernizing legacy platforms while supporting an installed customer base.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering leaders across portfolio companies to agentic delivery with governance and validation.
• Own R&D budget, roadmap, and reporting with executive visibility.
• Set standards for AI maturity, security reviews of AI-generated code, and measurement of outcomes.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to translate AI capability into revenue.
• Drive platform modernization and cross-team release commitments.
