Job summary

Harris Computer seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive AI-enabled transformation across multiple portfolio companies. You will own roadmaps, set governance, and ensure secure, scalable delivery of enterprise software within regulated markets.

You will mentor directors, align onshore and offshore capacity, and champion AI-driven outcomes that unlock measurable business value while maintaining strong architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 10+ years in software development.
• 3+ years leading engineering organizations at director level or higher.
• Hands-on use of AI development tools daily with governance experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise software to public sector or regulated markets.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering directors across portfolio companies with clear goals and performance expectations.
• Recruit and retain engineering talent and build succession depth.
• Set governance for AI-enabled delivery with validation and security reviews.
• Structure org for onshore/offshore/contract capacity amid agentic delivery.
• Communicate roadmap progress and investment needs to leadership.
