Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota seeks a Vice President, Advanced Analytics and AI to shape how data, analytics, and AI drive decisions. Reporting to the CIO, this leader will guide enterprise analytics across business intelligence, advanced analytics, population health, and AI governance.

The role requires building a high‑performing, customer‑centric analytics organization, partnering with product, engineering, and finance, and communicating insights to the board with clarity and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of related professional experience, with 5+ years in management/leadership.
• Experience leading BI, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics functions at scale with AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise analytics strategy aligned with the AI strategy.
• Lead transition to modern, self-service analytics.
• Bridge between technical teams and business leadership to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Oversee data pipelines, analytics platforms, and AI/ML model deployment.
• Lead analytics team and communicate findings to senior leadership and the Board.
