Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) seeks an enterprise AI governance and strategy leader to manage an AI portfolio across the organization. You will guide model governance, technology selection, and responsible AI practices while aligning investments with strategic priorities and business outcomes.

Responsibilities include owning the AI portfolio roadmap, partnering with FinOps for cost management, and providing enterprise architecture guidance.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or equivalent; MS preferred.
• 10+ years in enterprise tech strategy, governance, portfolio management.
• 5+ years AI/ML leadership, healthcare or payer experience.
• Ability to translate complex AI concepts for executive audiences and build consensus.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AI product/portfolio strategy and capability roadmap.
• Govern AI model lifecycle, governance, and approval workflows across teams.
• Partner with FinOps to deliver financial transparency and KPI reporting for AI initiatives.
• Provide architecture guidance for AI solutions, evaluation of foundation models and tool selection.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with business and technology leaders to drive value and governance.
