Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a strategic leader for Advanced Analytics and AI. You will shape enterprise analytics, guide BI, data science, and AI execution, and partner with product, engineering, finance, and legal teams to embed analytics into products and operations.

The role demands a strong executive presence, exceptional communication, and a track record of building customer-centric analytics teams that drive affordability and quality of care. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of related professional experience with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading BI, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics at scale.
• Experience applying AI and analytics to structured and unstructured data, including AI governance.
• Healthcare analytics knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record building high-performing analytics teams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise analytics strategy aligned with AI strategy and prioritize based on business value.
• Advance self-service and embedded analytics across the organization.
• Bridge between technical teams and business leadership to translate data into decisions.
• Oversee data pipelines, analytics platforms, and AI/ML deployment for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Advanced Analytics team and partners across units.
• Communicate findings to senior leadership and the Board in a clear, decision-oriented way.
• Manage annual analytics budget and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
