Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota seeks a strategic leader for Advanced Analytics and AI. This role shapes data, analytics, and AI use across the enterprise, partnering with product, engineering, finance, and legal to drive measurable business outcomes and improved affordability and quality of care.

The VP will recruit and mentor top analytics talent, govern AI use, and communicate insights to senior leaders and the Board, while guiding budgeting and strategy for the analytics function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced analytics and AI governance experience preferred.
• Proven leadership of BI, data science or advanced analytics at scale.
• Strong storytelling to translate data into actionable insights for executives.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate enterprise analytics and AI strategy aligned with business value.
• Lead transition to self-service analytics and embedded analytics across the organization.
• Oversee AI/ML deployment, data pipelines, and analytics platforms for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing analytics team and communicate findings to the Board.
