Job summary

EverTrue, located in the St. Louis area, seeks a Vice President of Advancement to lead its fundraising and philanthropy programs.

You will oversee annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, and donor stewardship while guiding the Advancement team toward strategic goals. You will travel to EverTrue communities in Missouri, Illinois, and Pennsylvania, partner with the CEO and board, and represent the organization with donors, volunteers, and community leaders

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications preferred.
• Seven+ years of progressive fundraising management experience.
• Senior leadership experience in advancement and fundraising programs.
• Experience with annual, major, and planned gifts and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Leads, directs, and manages all aspects of the philanthropic effort and secures gifts and pledges in support of organizational goals.
• Develops planning processes that produce leadership ownership and accountability.
• Directs philanthropic operations and coordinates with the accounting department for financial statements and fundraising reports.
• Represents EverTrue to residents, donors, volunteers, board members, and community leaders.
• Leads Advancement team to strategies for Campaigns, Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Gifts, and Corporate/Foundation relations.
• Plans and executes comprehensive or capital campaigns when advisable.
• Oversees gift processing, data management, donor recognition, moves management, and prospect strategy.
