Job summary

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure in the United States seeks a Vice President of Physical Security to own the security program across a growing data center portfolio. You will shape strategy, standards, people, and technology, while managing vendor relationships and hyperscale customer compliance.

You will harmonize security standards, lead multi-site teams, and oversee budgets and incident response, with in-office presence four days a week and up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive physical security experience.
• 5+ years in senior leadership roles within data centers or similar high-security environments.
• Experience managing large contract guard programs with vendor negotiations.
• Knowledge of enterprise physical security tech and biometric platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise physical security strategy, policies, and standards across all data center campuses.
• Lead, develop, and scale the physical security organization, including campus security directors and site managers.
• Own the national contract guard force program, including vendor selection and SLAs.
• Own the physical security technology portfolio and roadmap, including access control and video management.
• Lead hyperscale customer security compliance and audit readiness.
• Direct security requirements for new site development from design through commissioning.
• Own the incident and crisis management program with executive-level reporting.
• Own physical security budgets across capex and opex and manage procurement.
• Drive enterprise risk assessments and threat monitoring as the portfolio grows.
