Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced leader to helm the Data Center Security Engineering team, directing day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives across global data centers. You will define standards for access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems while driving security program excellence.

You will bridge Security, IT, and Facilities, ensuring commissioning, maintenance, and audits meet ISO, SOC, and NIST requirements, with a focus on scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in security, IT, physical systems engineering, or security technology deployment in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing or leading teams responsible for physical security system administration or commissioning.
• Advanced knowledge of Genetec Security Center, access control hardware, CCTV architecture, and alarm systems.
• Strong IT fundamentals, including networking concepts, Windows Server administration, and REST APIs for system integrations.
• Proven experience supporting regulatory compliance efforts and preparing audit evidence.
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure initiatives across sites or regions.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the Data Center Security Engineering team, including day-to-day task prioritization, roadmap, performance management, and professional development.
• Define and maintain technical standards for access control, video surveillance, physical intrusion detection, and AI security systems.
• Align physical security designs with security baselines, cybersecurity requirements, and infrastructure scalability.
• Ensure seamless commissioning of physical security systems in construction and retrofit projects.
• Own operational health and maintenance of physical security systems, including Genetec components and firmware management.
• Ensure security systems align with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST 800-53 with proper documentation for audits.
• Plan replacement of aging hardware and onboarding of new technologies; manage inventory and vendor workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, system integrators, and vendors to meet specifications and standards.
• Serve as escalation point for networking needs (VLANs, IPs, firewall rules) and server resources for security platforms.
• Lead creation and governance of SOPs, commissioning guides, configuration baselines, and system architecture docs.
• Partner with GSOC, Policy, Risk, IT, Executive Protection, and Facilities to coordinate system changes and investigations.
• Act as a stakeholder in policy and standards development across the physical security ecosystem.
