Job summary

BBVA is seeking an experienced Vice President for its Latin America Public Sector team in New York. The role involves managing relationships with multilateral institutions, identifying new business opportunities, and leading complex financing transactions. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in corporate or investment banking with a focus on multilateral institutions. An MBA is preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish is required. The expected salary range is $170,000 to $220,000, along with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• More than 7 years of relevant experience in corporate and/or investment banking.
• Proven experience covering or executing transactions with multilateral development banks.
• Strong understanding of multilateral institutions’ business models and funding structures.
• Ability to obtain FINRA licenses within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with multilateral and supranational institutions in LATAM.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities with multilateral institutions.
• Lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions.
• Ensure compliance with BBVA’s internal policies and standards.
