Job summary

Chase is seeking a Vice President, Control Manager in Home Lending to design and evolve an enhanced control framework, enabling continuous risk assessment and rapid remediation across mortgage origination, fulfillment, closing, servicing, and default operations.

You will drive top-down risk analysis, real-time issue detection, and sustainable remediation while partnering with Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Technology to identify gaps and strengthen controls, using data and automation where

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in financial services with controls/audit/operational risk background.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage servicing/origination processes and regulations.
• Ability to make independent risk-based decisions and lead remediation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, and ongoing enhancement of mortgage controls across lifecycle.
• Evaluate regulatory and operational risks and strengthen control environment.
• Provide oversight for risk assessments, issue management, and remediation.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk, Audit, and Technology to close gaps.
• Support regulatory examinations and internal audits with SME input.
• Monitor risk indicators, industry trends, and regulatory developments.
• Lead root cause analysis and oversee corrective action implementation.
• Drive governance, executive reporting, and risk discussions for transparency.
• Leverage data analytics and automation to improve control effectiveness.
• Strengthen resilience by aligning anti-fraud and cybersecurity controls.
• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team focused on excellence.
