Job summary
Iteris is seeking a Vice President for Mobility Consulting Services (MCS) to lead California strategy, deliver complex transportation planning and ITS projects, and mentor staff. The role focuses on project delivery, business development, and leadership across transportation planning and ITS teams to support regional growth.
The successful candidate will have extensive CA public sector experience, strong leadership and communications skills, and a passion for advancing mobility safety,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering or related field is required.
- 15+ years as a transportation planning/engineering/ITS expert.
- 10+ years in a leadership role leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- 10+ years of business development with public transportation agencies in CA.
- PE/TE licensure, PTOE, IMSA or AICP certification desired.
Responsibilities
- Lead California strategy development and execution within the planning discipline.
- Define client needs and develop plans to address business capture and regional growth.
- Cultivate strategic thinking to grow business and increase client retention rates.
