Job summary

Iteris, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Mobility Consulting Services (MCS) to lead transportation planning and ITS projects in California.

The role combines project delivery, business development, and staff mentorship within our planning, ITS, and engineering teams to promote safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility for communities. The successful candidate will bring 15+ years in transportation planning/engineering, 10+ years in leadership and business development, and CA public agency

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead California strategy development and execution to meet business objectives within the planning discipline.
Define client needs and develop a plan and proposal to address business capture and regional growth.
Cultivate strategic thinking to grow business and increase client retention rates.
Conduct business development activities including pre-marketing, proposal preparation, interview, and contract negotiations within the planning discipline and related areas.
Lead technical project delivery, provide guidance, and advise clients on complex transportation projects.
Serve as a technical subject matter expert in transportation planning, ITS, and related disciplines.
Mentor staff and manage multi-disciplinary teams on transportation projects.
