Job summary

JLL is seeking a Vice President, Project Controls - Mission Critical to lead a team of cost managers, estimators, and schedulers on mission-critical data center projects up to $50M. You will drive cost, schedule, and performance, coordinating with design and construction teams to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CM, Engineering, Finance, or related field, 8–10 years in project controls, 2–3 years in management, and proficiency with Primavera P6/Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in project controls, cost management, estimating, or scheduling.
• 2–3 years of direct management experience leading project controls professionals.
• Advanced knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and financial analysis for capital construction projects.
• Strong proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and cost management tools.
• Experience with mission-critical or data center projects preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team leadership and development for cost managers, estimators, and schedulers.
• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for capital projects.
• Monitor expenditures against budgets and coordinate change orders.
• Prepare cost reports and variance analyses for project portfolio.
• Manage detailed project schedules and monitor critical path and recovery strategies.
• Ensure adherence to project controls standards and QA processes.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders and escalate issues with recommended solutions.
