Job summary

Oracle seeks a senior military leader to build workforce pathways for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses near priority data center sites. You will partner with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and HR to identify needs, translate military experience into eligible roles, and remove hiring barriers while expanding partnerships with education providers and veteran organizations.

Qualifications

• Distinguished leadership in the U.S. Armed Forces, DoD, or equivalent security org with credibility and strong military ecosystem ties.
• Experience building workforce development, talent pipelines, or public-private partnerships for military-connected people.
• Ability to work across business, HR, and community partners to translate needs into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong executive communication and relationship-building skills to represent Oracle with senior external stakeholders.
• Private sector leadership is a plus; familiarity with large-scale infrastructure or data-center workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with military leadership, transition programs, veteran organizations, workforce boards, schools, and community partners near Oracle data center sites.
• Partner with OCI and HR to identify workforce needs and develop site-specific military hiring plans and measures of hiring and retention.
• Translate military experience into relevant roles and remove barriers in recruiting and hiring.
• Develop education, training, apprenticeship, and other partnerships to prepare military-connected candidates for site needs.
• Track partnership activity and outcomes to improve programs and scale successful approaches.
• Serve as Oracle's senior representative to military leaders and stakeholders to advance workforce development and community trust.
• Advise Oracle executives on military and workforce trends and coordinate with Communications on external presence.
• Support Government Affairs on policy matters while aligning with Oracle's priorities.
