Why OCI

Help turn significant OCI data center investments into practical employment pathways and sustained community trust. This role combines enterprise reach, senior external representation, and direct ownership of partnership execution, with outcomes connected to site hiring and retention.

Partner with OCI and HR to identify workforce needs at priority data center sites and develop site specific military hiring plans, including outreach, candidate pathways, and measures of hiring and retention.

Develop education, training, apprenticeship, and other workforce partnerships that prepare military connected candidates for current and future site needs, in coordination with HR and OCI leaders.

Track partnership activity and talent outcomes with HR and OCI; use evidence from priority sites to improve programs and scale approaches that work across Oracle's infrastructure footprint.

Serve as Oracle's senior representative to military leaders, associations, veteran organizations, and other strategic stakeholders, with emphasis on relationships that advance workforce development and community trust.

Advise Oracle executives on military and workforce trends; collaborate with Communications and Community Engagement on a coordinated presence in military connected communities.

Support Oracle’s Government Affairs team on policy or public sector matters when requested, while aligning external engagement with Oracle's established policy leadership and priorities.

Qualifications

Distinguished leadership experience in the U.S. Armed Forces, Department of Defense, or a comparable national security organization, with credibility and established relationships across the military ecosystem.

Experience building workforce development, talent pipeline, or public private partnership programs that connect military connected people with employment or training opportunities.

Ability to work across business, HR, and community partners to turn local workforce needs into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Strong executive communication and relationship building skills, including the ability to represent Oracle with senior external stakeholders.

Private sector leadership experience preferred; familiarity with large scale infrastructure or data center workforce needs is a plus.
