Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Eight years of commercial lines underwriting experience with leadership in middle market.
• Three years of insurance company leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty underwriting, rating, regulations and finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Middle Market underwriting operations to achieve growth and profitability.
• Own the Middle Market P&L, strategy, and operating plan across territories.
• Develop underwriting teams and implement guidelines, policies, and audits.
• Analyze data and portfolio performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, IT and other departments on strategic priorities.
• Build relationships with agents, policyholders, and industry partners.
