Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks an Emerging Middle Market Relationship Manager, VP to develop profitable relationships with larger clients, coordinate with internal partners, and deliver customized banking solutions. You will assess credit needs, manage risk, and grow revenue while maintaining exceptional client service.

Role requires strong credit skills, consultative selling, and a track record of building strategic client partnerships across Treasury, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years Commercial Banking experience, preferably at least 3 years in a sales role.
• Formalized commercial credit training or equivalent credit experience required.
• Ability to structure for moderately complex financial situations.
• Proven ability to build new and existing client business translating to increased revenue and provide a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for clients independently by utilizing referral sources, existing clients and centers of influence.
• Develop and implement business plan to achieve financial goals and qualitative measurements.
• Work closely with internal partners to deepen existing relationships and acquire new prospective relationships.
• Attend industry forums and meetings to broaden networks and knowledge of trends and services.
• Analyze and develop tailored relationship strategies for each client or prospect.
• Meet with customers regularly to enhance trusted advisor relationships and ensure business needs are met.
