Job summary

CVS Health in the Hartford area is seeking a Vice President, Medicare Product to define strategy across Medicare Advantage, Part D, Duals, and related offerings. The role shapes the portfolio, drives growth, and partners with Finance, Actuarial, Sales, Pharmacy, and Technology.

You will lead a large product organization, oversee annual bid and product filings, and ensure regulatory compliance. Exceptional leadership and deep Medicare knowledge are essential in this matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of healthcare experience leading complex product portfolios in a highly regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, especially Individual Medicare.
• Proven success leading large-scale Medicare product portfolios including design, economics, lifecycle management, regulatory complexity, and implementation.
• Strong enterprise orientation with ability to connect product strategy to business performance, market opportunities, and customer value.
• Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the Medicare product strategy and 1-to-5-year roadmap aligned with growth, value, and regulatory dynamics.
• Lead portfolio strategy across Medicare Advantage, Part D, Duals, Group Medicare, and ancillary products.
• Shape product design, differentiation, and lifecycle strategies to strengthen positioning and performance.
• Oversee governance, filings, and execution with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Represent the Medicare product in client discussions, industry forums, and regulatory conversations.
