Job summary

Crowley is seeking a Vice President, Land Transportation Operations to lead the U.S. 3PL and drayage network and to optimize service delivery, safety, and financial results across the regional transportation footprint.

The role partners with Commercial and other logistics functions to meet customer commitments. In this hybrid leadership role, you will own P&L for DFTS and third‑party drayage, drive productivity, and manage day‑to‑day execution, routing, and capacity utilization while developing

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
• Proven leadership experience managing large‑scale, asset‑based operations.
• Strong understanding of dispatch operations, routing, and transportation network optimization.
• Experience with P&L ownership and cost management in a transportation environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive service performance, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Strong decision‑making capability in dynamic, real‑time operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. land transportation operations and ensure alignment with strategy, commitments, and financial objectives.
• Own full P&L accountability for DFTS and third‑party drayage operations, setting priorities and execution standards.
