Job summary

The Lewis Group of Companies in Sacramento, CA seeks a Vice President of Land Development to lead planning, infrastructure, and horizontal development for large-scale residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects across Northern California.

You will guide due diligence, entitlements, and construction, coordinating with engineers, municipalities, and builders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or General Contractor license is a plus.
• Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, bidding, contracting, scheduling, and execution of horizontal development projects.
• Maintain accountability for schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and performance.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and schedule optimization.
• Direct grading, utilities, roadways, stormwater, landscaping, and site improvements.
