SMBC, a leading global financial group, is seeking an IT Project Management Vice President in Charlotte, NC. You will manage a portfolio of technology programs aligned with business priorities, delivering outcomes within approved budgets and timelines.

You will partner with business, technology, and infrastructure leaders to establish governance, manage resources, and drive organizational change in a regulated banking environment while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading complex technology programs or PMO functions.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or regulated environments.
• Expertise in scope, planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets products and Credit Risk.
• Strong communication and stakeholder presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of technology programs delivering objectives, timelines, budgets.
• Establish program governance frameworks and delivery standards.
• Build and oversee PMO structures with clear ownership.
• Align program priorities with business and operational needs.
• Monitor performance, risks, dependencies, and financials.
• Review milestones and ensure sustainable solutions meeting requirements.
• Drive transparent reporting to senior leaders.
• Promote collaboration across teams, regions, and units.
