Job summary

Verra Mobility seeks a strategic, hands‑on VP of IT Operations to lead enterprise infrastructure, end‑user computing, databases, and service desk globally. You will be accountable for reliability, performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness of IT operations while building high‑performing teams and maturing processes.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in IT with 5+ years in executive operations, deep cloud and security experience, and strong vendor management.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years in senior IT operations leadership.
Proven track record leading infrastructure, systems, database, end‑user computing, and service desk.
Deep expertise in cloud, networking, virtualization, and enterprise systems.
Strong experience with ITSM frameworks and IT operations tooling.
Demonstrated ability to build teams, manage budgets, and lead vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

Own strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, networks, servers, storage, and virtualization.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for core systems.
Drive cloud adoption, migration, and cost optimization.
Lead IT service desk, define SLAs/KPIs, and implement ITSM best practices.
Build and mentor a high‑performing IT operations team and manage budgets and vendor relationships.
