Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for existing LPs, handling ad hoc requests and data needs.

Venture Search is partnering with a New York-based private equity investment manager that, following another successful fundraise, is looking to appoint an experienced Investor Relations professional.

This is a newly created opportunity for an individual to take ownership of both investor relationship management and the delivery of key investor relations projects, working closely with senior stakeholders across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the leadership team by being a point of contact for existing LPs on ad hoc requests, data needs and general servicing.
• Own the RFP and DDQ process end to end: coordinating input from investment, legal and compliance, and managing turnaround timelines.
• Draft and coordinate quarterly investor letters and reporting packages in partnership with the investment team and finance/fund administration.
• Plan and execute the annual investor meeting and any interim LPAC or investor events, covering content, logistics and materials.
• Maintain investor records, CRM and distribution lists.
• Partner with fund administration, legal and compliance on side letters, LPA queries and consent requests as they touch investor communications.
• Support future fundraising cycles with materials and pipeline coordination as the function matures.

Candidate Profile

• The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience, either in a similar in-house IR role or at a placement agent.
• High attention to detail for investor reporting and communication.
• Relationship management experience across the investor landscape.
• Excellent written communication for letters and investor-facing materials.
