Job summary

Northbound Executive Search seeks an Investor Relations Associate to support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities. You will work closely with senior team members and engage with existing and prospective institutional investors.

This role offers exposure to fundraising, reporting, and the broader investment business, with a dynamic environment and opportunities to impact client relationships and capital formation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations.
• Prior experience within private equity, private credit, hedge funds, asset management, investment banking, or financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and polished with the ability to communicate effectively with senior professionals and investors.
• Experience with CRM platforms and RFP/DDQ processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day investor relations activities and serve as a point of contact for investor requests.
• Assist with the preparation of investor presentations, pitch books, marketing materials, and other client-facing materials.
• Respond to investor inquiries and coordinate follow-up requests.
• Assist with RFPs, DDQs, and other due diligence requests.
• Prepare and distribute investor reporting and communications.
• Maintain and update CRM data, investor information, and fundraising pipelines.
• Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and presentations.
• Partner with investment, finance, legal, compliance, and operations teams to gather information for investor requests.
• Conduct research on prospective investors and assist with fundraising initiatives.
• Track investor activity and prepare internal reporting for senior management.
• Assist with annual meetings, investor events, and other client-facing initiatives.
• Support ad hoc projects across the Investor Relations team.
