Job summary

Penguin Solutions, based in Fremont, CA, seeks a Vice President, Investor Relations to build and lead the IR function and serve as the primary interface with shareholders, analysts, and the investment community.

Reporting to the CFO, this leader will shape the investment narrative, ensure disciplined disclosures, and drive proactive investor engagement, translating AI and memory infrastructure into clear equity value stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a finance, business, or communications field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in investor relations or related finance/communications roles.
• Experience leading IR for a publicly traded company, preferably in tech/AI related markets.
• Strong understanding of SEC disclosure requirements, Nasdaq expectations, and earnings processes.
• Ability to translate complex technical and market concepts into investor-friendly messages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead IR strategy aligned with business goals, performance, and value creation.
• Serve as primary contact for institutional investors, analysts, and shareholders.
• Shape a clear investment narrative around AI infrastructure and growth opportunities.
• Lead end-to-end quarterly earnings process and related materials.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and Communications to ensure compliant external disclosures.
• Build and deepen investor relationships and target proactive engagement.
• Drive investor roadshows, conferences, and events.
• Monitor sentiment, market developments, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare leadership for investor meetings and public disclosures.
• Support annual reports, proxy statements, and ESG disclosures.
