Job summary

d-Matrix, a venture-backed AI semiconductor company, seeks a first VP of Investor Relations in New York or San Francisco. You will build the IR function from the ground up and craft how our technology, roadmap, and financial trajectory are communicated to shareholders and the investment community.

You will partner with the CEO, CFO, and executive team to manage investor outreach, prepare presentations and Q&A, ensure a single source of truth for KPIs, and guide the path to a future IPO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in investor relations, equity research, buy-side investing, investment banking, or corporate and strategic finance, focused on AI hardware, semiconductors, or AI infrastructure software.
• Working knowledge of Regulation FD, SEC disclosure requirements, and the IPO process and roadshow.
• Excellent financial modeling, valuation, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year IR strategy aligned with corporate strategy, financing milestones, and the path to becoming a public company.
• Own the d-Matrix equity story, including the shift from training to inference, the memory wall, and how Memory Centric Compute and 3DIMC compare with GPUs.
• Serve as the primary contact for existing shareholders and for prospective investors, building the investor pipeline and CRM.
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Corporate Development on capital raises, including investor outreach and diligence responses.
• Author investor presentations, shareholder updates, executive scripts, and Q&A frameworks translating milestones into investor messages.
