Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Business Development professional to expand its investor network and capital base, focusing on cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, and other private wealth channels.

You will source and qualify prospects, support fundraising strategy with senior leadership, coordinate meetings and due diligence, and manage investor communications using CRM tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, investor relations, fundraising, capital formation, or private wealth distribution.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments, private markets, or investment management.
• Proven ability to build relationships and engage sophisticated investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, RIAs, and other private wealth channels.
• Source and qualify prospective investors through outreach and relationship-building.
• Serve as a point of contact for existing investors and manage communications.
• Partner with senior leadership on capital formation, fundraising strategy, and investor engagement.
• Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, due diligence requests, and follow-up communications.
• Maintain investor activity and pipeline information within CRM systems.
• Assist with marketing materials, fundraising presentations, and investor reporting.
