Selby Jennings seeks a Vice President, Investments to join its investment team. The role focuses on evaluating opportunities, conducting manager due diligence, and contributing to portfolio management across a diversified mix of public and private investments.

The successful candidate will lead analysis, prepare investment memoranda, and support portfolio construction while liaising with external managers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant investment experience in institutional settings.
• Experience evaluating and monitoring external managers across asset classes.
• Strong understanding of public and private markets including PE, VC, hedge funds.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and portfolio construction capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including memoranda.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsabilités

• Lead analysis of external manager performance, portfolio positioning, risk.
• Conduct due diligence on prospective investment managers and funds.
• Source, evaluate, recommend, and monitor external managers.
• Prepare investment memoranda and investment committee materials.
• Participate in asset allocation and portfolio construction discussions.
• Maintain relationships with external managers and industry participants.
• Monitor portfolio exposures, liquidity, capital activity, and performance.
