Job summary

Needham & Company in San Francisco is seeking an Experienced Associate or Vice President in Investment Banking to partner with senior bankers on multiple projects, handling analytical work and supporting transactions from origination to closing.

Responsibilities include client presentations, financial analysis and valuation, capital markets and technology analyses, drafting SEC documents, and executing IPOs, follow-ons and M&A. A strong 5–10 year track record in tech-focused IB is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in investment banking, with closed deal experience.
• Semiconductor, software, or general technology experience is a must.
• Excellent analytic and writing skills and a particular attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic and drive to perform at a high level.
• Keen understanding of financial statement analysis and company valuation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare presentations to clients.
• Perform financial analysis, including valuation analysis.
• Conduct capital markets and technology analysis.
• Participate in drafting of SEC documents.
• Execute IPOs, follow-on equity offerings, and mergers and acquisitions projects.
• Conduct due diligence for Needham & Company sponsored transactions.
