AlixPartners is seeking a qualified professional for a hybrid role in New York, combining in-depth financial analysis, modeling, and litigation/valuation support. The position requires CPA certification, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work across multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

The role involves creating and reviewing financial models, presenting findings to clients, and collaborating with teams in a dynamic client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related; Master’s is desirable.
• CPA certification required.
• Well-developed analytical abilities.
• Ability to prepare, or learn to prepare, financial models and cash flow analyses.
• Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks, self-prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional demeanor with strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Research and analyze factors including detailed financial analysis affecting litigation damages or valuation.
• Develop and assess projections and forecasts.
• Create financial models incorporating valuation theory (e.g., DCF).
• Analyze financial transactions for possible fraud and GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Review audit working papers for professional standards.
• Communicate with clients and colleagues in written and oral form, including drafting expert reports and presentations.
• Create and manage large data sets.
• Apply statistical analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials.
• Perform quality control review over work product.
• Organize documents and work papers for litigation and valuation reports.
