Job summary

KeyBank’s Institutional Capital Group seeks a Relationship Manager (Vice President) to source, underwrite, and manage institutional CRE client relationships across the U.S., focusing on Multifamily, Industrial, Healthcare, and Data Centers.

You will collaborate with senior bankers, develop tailored balance sheet solutions, negotiate term sheets, and lead coordination with risk and product partners while mentoring Analysts and Associates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial real estate and/or banking (required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics or equivalent experience (required).
• Strong credit analysis, financial modeling, and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure credit exposures from $25M to $250M with senior bankers.
• Analyze financial statements and build customized balance sheet solutions.
• Prepare financial models, offering memorandums, term sheets, and client presentations.
• Present financing options to C-suite executives and negotiate term sheets.
• Manage deal approvals and ensure adherence to risk protocols.
• Expand client base through networking and industry conferences.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee existing client relationships.
