Job summary

KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s Institutional Real Estate Group seeks a Senior Relationship Manager to source and manage client relationships, underwrite and structure new credit opportunities, and collaborate with product partners across the bank to drive revenue. The SRM manages risk, mentors teammates, and leads deal teams while traveling as needed to serve top CRE clients in the United States.

The role offers a base salary with discretionary bonus, extensive benefits including 401(k) matching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6-10+ years in commercial real estate or banking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using AI tools to support underwriting, market research, credit analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and strong work ethic.
• Strong sales and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with IREG teammates to provide creative financing solutions to efficiently finance client portfolios/business.
• Develop and maintain close client relationships and provide balance sheet lending and off-balance sheet financing options within the bank’s risk tolerance.
• Synthesize portfolio financial data and assess risks of extending structured credit products.
• Lead internal deal teams and communicate with stakeholders to develop client opportunities.
• Mentor, coach and develop Relationship Managers, Analysts, and Associates.
• Lead sales and prospecting activities aligned to growth strategies.
• In-office presence is expected with frequent travel as required.
