Job summary

Geisinger Institute seeks a proven leader to oversee operations, aligning the institute’s goals with Geisinger’s mission. You will manage a broad portfolio, including inpatient, procedural, and ambulatory clinic operations, and drive performance with the physician administrator partner.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Business Administration or Healthcare Management and 10+ years of managerial and healthcare experience, ensuring strategic growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Business Administration/Healthcare Management.
• Minimum of 10 years managerial/supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 10 years healthcare experience.
• Experience with hospital operations and health system administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Geisinger Institute.
• Directly lead and support the functions of the institute.
• Develop and implement institute level business policies and procedures.
• Monitor KPI and financial performance of the institute with partner.
• Embed LEAN principles in operations and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
• Guide non-clinical staff and hold them accountable for goals and objectives.
• Foster liaison with leadership, physicians, patients, and employees.
• Support IT, development, marketing, and public relations initiatives at the unit and system level.
