Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced executive to oversee the operations of Geisinger Institute at GMC. The role aligns the Institute with the organization’s mission, vision and driving strategies, and drives marketing of health programs and products.

The position manages all fiscal and administrative aspects, guiding inpatient, procedural, and ambulatory clinic operations across a broad portfolio. Collaboration with physician partners is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in healthcare management or business administration is required.
• Experience leading inpatient, procedural, and ambulatory clinic operations is essential.
• Minimum of 10 years managerial/supervisory and healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational activities and functions of the assigned institute.
• Direct and support the institute's functions and growth in collaboration with physician partners.
• Develop and implement institute-level policies and procedures with leadership.
• Monitor KPIs including financial performance with physician partners.
• Embed LEAN principles to ensure efficient resource use and cost control.
• Provide direction and accountability for non-clinical staff and goals.
