Job summary

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day operations of all assigned affiliates and clinics; ensures system-wide standards related to high quality care.
• Assures sound fiscal operation of the region or platform; ensures cost-effective service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Participates with System and medical staff in development and implementation of strategic plans.
• Establishes and maintains communications and a culture of collaboration with non-System medical staff and supports cooperation and mutual goals.
• Participates in recruitment and retention of System and community medical staff to ensure ongoing success of the region or platform.
• Works with System leadership to provide an integrated patient care system that is efficient, safe, and delivers outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Analyzes market conditions and develops strategic objectives to maintain the System’s competitive position in health care.
• Sets patient care, safety, education, and community service goals while ensuring financial viability.
• Fosters service excellence and positions the System as provider and employer of choice.
• Engages with employees, medical staff, and others in the System and community; supports personal growth and succession planning.
• Manages operating and capital budgets; implements continuous performance improvement.
• Maintains public relations with internal and external providers and relevant constituencies.
• Encourages ongoing education and participation in health-related associations to maintain expertise.
