Job summary

Required are a Bachelor's in a related field, a P.E. license (or within 6 months of hire), and 25+ years in transportation engineering with 15+ years in leadership and financial management. Travel and leadership responsibilities are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in related field.
• P.E. license in applicable state required or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 25+ years progressively responsible experience in transportation engineering, with 15+ years in personnel, service delivery, and financial management.
• Valid driver's license and insurability as per firm requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, monitor attainment, revenue receipts, and expenditures to meet corporate goals.
• Manage risks to minimize litigation, scope creep, and out-of-scope work.
• Provide revenue projections and monitor goal achievement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
• Lead or participate in regional office business development programs.
• Prepare proposals and qualification statements; assist in approvals.
• Act as consultant to departments, project managers, and regional principals.
• Serve as Project Manager/Director as needed.
• Oversee HR, training, and health & safety administrative activities.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, monitor and report on service delivery to clients.
• Identify training needs and develop personnel competency.
• Review procedures and implement corrective actions for compliance.
• Ensure cost-effective application of technologies and services.
• Support quality management and performance measures.
• Protect confidential financial and marketing information.
• Foster a positive culture across offices to boost performance and staff development.
• Oversee professional development of staff; maintain licenses and certifications.
