Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Active California PE license is required.
• 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong client development and business growth experience.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring engineers and managing portfolios.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client relationship skills.
• Balance technical excellence with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior leader and trusted advisor on complex civil engineering projects.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with municipalities, public agencies, and institutional clients.
• Lead business development efforts, including proposal strategy, client outreach, and pursuit planning.
• Oversee project managers and technical teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and career development support to engineering staff.
• Guide project planning, design, permitting, and construction administration activities.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and identify new market opportunities.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on operational and financial performance goals.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, risk management, and client satisfaction.
