Job summary

BNY is seeking a VP, Infrastructure Engineering to join the SAM team in New York. You will own software governance across the lifecycle, maintain IDIP data, coordinate upgrades, and drive data-driven decision making for licensing and compliance.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, leveraging Power BI and SharePoint to deliver governance dashboards and insights, while managing multiple priorities with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IDIP experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the end-to-end software lifecycle.
• Experience supporting software upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Experience preparing RFCs and coordinating software changes.
• Understanding software licensing, entitlements, and compliance.
• Strong data analysis skills with large datasets.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day SAM and software governance across the lifecycle.
• Maintain IDIP data related to entitlements and ELPs.
• Coordinate software upgrades, EOL/EOS, and offboarding with Product Owners and SCCM/GDT teams.
• Prepare, submit, and track RFCs for upgrades and offboarding.
• Support licensing, compliance, usage, and data quality activities.
• Translate data into actionable insights for decision-making and governance.
• Manage the SAM shared mailbox and maintain BAU coverage.
