Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Production Services Application Support professional to join our Digital Asset Production Services team in New York. You will design and implement Dynatrace observability across applications, infrastructure, Kubernetes, databases, and cloud services, while building automation and integration for CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering/IS or related field; 5+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in Java and related technologies (J2EE).
• Proficiency in Python and related technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle) and MongoDB.
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Zephyr) and security awareness.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Dynatrace observability strategy across apps, infra, Kubernetes, DBs, and cloud services.
• Develop AI observability capabilities for AI apps, models, agents, prompts, and dependencies.
• Implement distributed tracing and end-to-end monitoring to identify bottlenecks and root causes.
• Build Java- and Python-based automation and integrations for Dynatrace onboarding, configs, alerts, dashboards, and CI/CD.
• Evaluate Dynatrace AI capabilities and communicate architecture recommendations to engineers and stakeholders.
