Job summary

New York Life is seeking an IT Production Support Manager to lead production support for mission-critical investment applications across hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability and operational excellence.

You will drive incident, problem, change, and release management, mentor global L1/L2 teams, and partner with cloud engineering, infrastructure, and business units to improve observability and automation using AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

8–10+ years in production support for enterprise applications.
Experience leading distributed production support teams in hybrid cloud environments.
Strong track record in incident/problem/change/release management and automation.

Responsibilities

Lead production support for mission-critical investments apps across AWS and on-premises environments.
Own incident response, root cause analysis, and preventive actions to improve MTTD/MTTR and reliability.
Partner with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, and Business teams on modernization and best practices.
Drive automation, observability, and AI-assisted capabilities to reduce manual effort.
Oversee governance, vendor performance, security, DR, and business continuity while mentoring staff.
