Job summary

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Advisory in the United States to lead strategic advisory services for major infrastructure programs.

The role involves shaping capital programs and supporting business development within Hill Advisory, the firm's strategic advisory practice. You will work with agency executives and program leadership to structure, de-risk, and deliver complex capital projects while leading multi-disciplinary teams and enhancing Hill Advisory’s market

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of post-education experience in infrastructure advisory or related fields.
• Experience with alternative delivery transactions and agency advisory roles.
• Strong grasp of infrastructure project finance mechanics and modeling.
• Fluent in developing, interpreting, and negotiating project contracts and procurement documents.
• Proven ability to lead engagements independently and manage client relationships.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for executive and board audiences.
• Track record advising public agency executives or boards directly.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, commercial, and financial advice for infrastructure capital programs.
• Develop business cases including VfM assessments for public investments.
• Advise on funding and financing strategy, including P3 and public grants.
• Develop and interpret financial models (NPV, ROI, IRR) and scenario analyses.
• Support capital project delivery methods and procurement strategy.
• Assess governance and organizational structures for efficiency improvements.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and represent Hill Advisory at conferences.
• Contribute to business development and client relationships.
