Job summary

Hill International is seeking a Vice President – Aviation in the United States. You will lead program management, construction management, and development efforts for airport facilities and infrastructure for clients in the U.S.

and Canada. The role emphasizes building client relationships, pursuing new opportunities, shaping pursuit strategies, supporting proposals, and delivering projects on time and within budget while expanding Hill’s aviation practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or aviation-related study.
• Minimum 20 years of program and construction management experience in aviation facilities for public or private clients.
• Extensive experience in airport and airline operations and understanding of construction impact on operations.
• Significant proposal development experience.
• Proven track record delivering major aviation programs with contract values >$50M and construction >$500M.
• Strong relationships with local market, contractors, A/E firms, and aviation clients.
• Excellent technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control, integrate, and evaluate work on client programs to ensure contractual compliance and quality.
• Manage major aviation programs and project teams from planning through delivery.
• Plan and evaluate staff performance and resource allocation.
• Ensure program delivery aligns with schedules and budgets and meets client expectations.
• Conduct client satisfaction surveys and follow-up interviews.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit strategic personnel.
• Support recruiting and management of project staff and utilize training initiatives.
• Provide PM/CM services for buildings and facilities for government and commercial clients.
• Identify opportunities and develop teaming strategies; maintain a portfolio for marketing efforts.
